Welcome!

I’m Tara, and I created UTHERAPY to help people unlock change that lasts. Based in Lincoln, UK, I work with clients who want to feel healthier, calmer, and more confident in themselves, whether that means breaking an old habit, building fitness, or exploring questions that reach beyond the everyday.

My career path hasn’t been a straight line. Before wellness, I spent years working in museums and heritage, leading teams and projects that explored how the past shapes the present. That’s also where I first discovered my love of technology and design: building databases, experimenting with mapping systems, and finding creative ways to visualise complex information. Looking back, the thread was always the same, making sense of patterns and turning them into something useful.

When I retrained, that thread carried through. I hold an MSc in Psychology (Mental Health & Wellbeing), professional qualifications in hypnotherapy and past life therapy, and certification as a personal trainer with specialist training in nutrition and behaviour change. Alongside that, I’ve deepened my technical expertise through study in AI, machine learning, and digital tools.

What this means in practice is that I can design online programmes that aren’t off-the-shelf, but adaptive, personal, and evolving, guided by my skills, experience and qualifications, and supported by the latest tools to help you see progress more clearly and consistently. Technology helps me tailor resources and track patterns, but it’s always framed and overseen by human care.

Living with Crohn’s disease and undergoing major surgery has also taught me what resilience really looks like. That experience means I don’t just talk theory: I know the challenges of rebuilding strength and balance first-hand.

UTHERAPY isn’t a one-size-fits-all method. Some clients come for straightforward hypnotherapy or personal training. Others want a programme that blends psychology, nutrition, and exercise. And some choose to explore a spiritual side further through past life regression and dream therapy. Whatever you’re here for, I’ll meet you at that point and support you in moving forward.

At present, I work with clients locally here in Lincoln as well as supporting people online through tailored packages and digital resources. My aim is to keep expanding these options, so UTHERAPY approach is accessible to anyone who wants it, wherever they are.
