Can I train if I have an injury or health condition?

Categories: Body Personal Training

In most cases, yes, though it depends on the nature of your condition. I regularly work with clients recovering from injury or managing ongoing health issues, and all programmes begin with a detailed health and lifestyle review to make sure everything is safe and appropriate.

If you’re under medical care, I may ask for clearance or liaise (with your permission) with your healthcare provider to ensure your plan complements any treatment you’re receiving. Every exercise or activity can be modified, whether that means adjusting load, range of motion, frequency, or intensity.

The goal is always the same: to help you move better, feel stronger, and build confidence safely.

You can read more about how I support rehabilitation and long-term wellbeing on the Personal Training and Therapy Services pages.

Unsure whether your condition means you can train? Book an initial appointment and we’ll review your history, goals, and current ability to create a plan that works safely for you.
